VFF 2021 Festival Sponsors Announced!
As preparations gear up for this year's Visability Film festival, we're pleased to share news of our two official sponsors for 2021, FLTV & Rationale Arts!
A subsidiary of the Frame Light group, FLTV seeks to popularise the medium of short film through its on demand service, starting at as little as £1.49 per month, with a 14 day free trial. Here viewers can access Music Videos, Narrative Fiction, Commercials, Experimental, Animation, Documentary, and Fashion Short Films.
For additional short film content, the Frame Light Group also recently released the 2nd edition of Short Focus Magazine, 'the world's premier short film journal', offering a range of short film reviews, interviews, and more.
Whether it be through dance, theatre, or beatbox, creative arts charity, Rationale Arts, uses their unique skillset to bridge the gap between disabled and non-disabled artists.
In 2017, Rationale's founder, Nathan Geering, was made artistic director of the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics in Sheffield, and we couldn't be happier to be partnering with such esteemed company!
We're also pleased to announce that Rationale Arts will be offering all of our award winners free online dance sessions for people with disabilities.
As an extra bonus, we'll also be hosting an online workshop - 'Enhancing Creativity Through Accessibility', ran by Rationale Arts on Sunday March 28th, available to all of our film submitters and audience members.
For the duration of the festival next month we'll also be screening Nathan's short film, 'Still A Slave' on our website, which has been audio described using 'The Rationale Method', utilizing emotive poetry and sound effects.
Enhancing accessibility to both visually impaired and sighted audiences, The Rationale Method adds a truly innovative approach to audio description.
That's all for now, be sure to check out the webpages of both of our amazing sponsors, and we'll see you in February for Visability Film Festival 2021!
